Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a famous and well known poet and singer, He used to direct music .He was from Faisalabad which is in Pakistan. People do recognize him with the short form of his whole unique name which is NFAK. People do often call him Nusrat Sahab, Khan Sahab, and many more. The peoples at those times used to attend his concerts very often with a great interest. Nusrat Sahab had won the hearts of peoples by his great kalaams and qawwali's. and still he is ruling the hearts of the peoples specially youngsters till date. khan Sahab had took the birth on 13th of October 1948 and he got retire at the age of 48. People still says that he left us very soon if he would have been alive now he would have rule the whole world. Though he had left special imprints on the hearts of his fans that they still love him, they still remembers him, they still listens to his legendary poems. The younger generation mainly teenagers got more influenced and attracted to him after listening to his great singing. They are becoming deep-dyed fans of Nusrat Sahab.

FAMILY BACKGROUND OF NUSRAT SAHAB

 

Nusrat Sahab's original name was Pervez Fateh Ali Khan in one of his Interviews he spoke about his name that before it was Pervez Fateh Ali khan but after one his close relative's  suggestion his name got changed to Nusrat Fateh Ali khan. It was like Pervez name was not meant for him said by his close relative as stated by Nusrat Sahab.

The father of the Nusrat Sahab was also a qawwal ,skilled instrumentalist and also vocalist. His father wants him to opt a different career rather than singing. But the great Nusrat Sahab was born with this quality, with a great voice, with great writing ability and with a great personality. From his childhood he was always attracted to writings and singings. His family had great singers like Ustad Fateh  Ali Khan his father, and his uncles, Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan and Ustad Salamat Ali Khan. By knowing this thing one can say that the music used to run into his veins. He also got married in the 1979 with Naheed Nusrat. He also has a daughter named as Nida Fateh Ali khan.
