Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a well known personality in the Music Industry. He was a Pakistani singer. He had a great knowledge of writings , songs, and qawwali's. He had made many hit qawwali's and those were just not only popular in Pakistan but it had ruled all over the world. can say it's still ruling. Nusrat Sahab have taken over  huge spaces in the hearts of the younger generation they listen to him with so much love. means after leaving this world Nusrat Sahab is still alive in the hearts of his fans.

Nusrat Sahab was born in Faisalabad which is located in Pakistan. He took birth on 13th of October 1948. As he was a Pakistani Singer he had lived his Whole life in Pakistan only. He has four  elder sisters and one younger brother name as Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan. He used to play Harmonium along with his brother in Qawwali concerts. Nusrat Sahab was always devoted to Music and Qawwali's but his Father wanted him to pursue another thing as a career option. He wanted him to opt medical aur engineering as a better career option. He began to sing in 1964, after his father got retired he used to sing with his uncle who was also a great artist Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan He had done many concerts which includes domestic concerts and also international concerts he performed in the countries like United Kingdom, France, United States, Japan, Canada, and also in India. People from every corner of the world listens to him as they adore him for his intense singing, the way of expressing the pain, in such a manner that the sufferings of pain itself seems more beautiful. He had proved that the Art of Singing has no religion , cast or anything it directly comes from the soul, directly comes from the Heart.

ABOUT HIS LIFE

Ustad had tied the knot with Naheed Nusrat in 1979. In terms of Relation Naheed was also his first cousin. Later Naheed Nusrat gave birth to a girl and they named her Nida. After living for many years in Canada Nida returned to Pakistan. Recently heard that now she is Willing to protect his Great father's Inheritance and said she is looking for launching his father's unpublished writings and tunes.

Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan had waved his last goodbye to the world on 16th of August 1997. He was just 48 years old when he left. People often says that he left us very soon. In those times, it was declared that he was suffering from liver and kidney related issues. Later, he used to get his treatment done from London. so while travelling through the London for his treatments straight away he was rushed to the hospital directly from the airport. In the Cromwell Hospital in London, England he took his Last Breath. Due to sudden cardiac arrest he couldn't make it. 

Nusrat Sahab was also taking Dialysis due to kidney related issue in his last moments, also he was diabetic and over weight.

He is Resting along with his wife ,parents and grandparents in Jhang Road Cemetry as per his will. The graveyard is located in Pakistan. His body was travelled back to Pakistan from London for the funeral. After his death his wife shifted to Canada and there she died in the year 2013 and her resting place was also in Jhang Cemetry along with his Husband. The day Khan Sahab died his fans was really traumatized and they label 16th of August 1997 as " The Day Music Died". The Music Industry Had suffered a Great Loss with this.
